NY Jukebox
Music Dept is very proud to work with NY Jukebox – a wedding band based out of Brooklyn, NY. This unique group of musicians has combined with a DJ to create a hybrid band perfectly suited to today’s pop hits as well as wedding and party classics.
Hybrid Party Band: Live Instruments & Vocals + DJ
So much of today’s great dance music has electronic elements, so rather than have live musicians try to replicate all the electronic drums or programmed synthesizers, why not have a sophisticated DJ design custom backing tracks and perform along with live singers and musicians!? This is exactly what NY Jukebox has done and we are so excited to have them performing for our client’s weddings and corporate events.
This energetic group really shines on modern Top 40, but they also love to put a lively spin on a range of classic hits. Working in combination with the DJ they create one-of-a-kind set lists and experiences tailored to the client’s musical wish list. From a 5 piece DJ hybrid group to a full 3 piece horn section band, they know how to own any stage and entertain your guests. Their live music covers a wide range of genres, from dance, rap, and disco to country, pop, and international.
This group is led by Pam Steebler and Vinny DaSilva – who are both from Brazil, so definitely check out their acoustic version of “Chega de Saudade” below. This versatile musicianship allows them to play for Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception.
