Music Dept has several wonderful Cello & Guitar combinations, its one of our very favorite pairings for Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour. There is just something magical about the way these two instruments bridge the classical and pop genres; pairing the cello’s ability to deliver a great melody with such emotion and drama combined with the rhythmic drive of great guitar accompaniment.
A big part of our love of Cello & Guitar for weddings comes from our work with Clerida & Adam. Clerida is unique among cellists for her ability to improvise, groove, and jam. Her special abilities have recently landed her a coveted spot in the orchestra of Broadway’s hit show, “The Outsiders.” Adam’s acoustic guitar is already one of our client’s favorite choices for wedding ceremony and with the addition of the Cello his playing has even more room to shine.

Do they take requests?
Absolutely! One of the best things about our Cello Guitar Duo is how easily and effectively they can perform almost any song. For a wedding we always include up to three custom requests.
What do they wear?
Clerida and Adam have a variety of wardrobe options. Formal, ‘Downtown Dressy Black,’ ‘Suit and Cocktail Dress,’ as well as more casual looks.
Can they stroll?
No. The cello needs to be played seated. However, they can very easily move throughout the different sections of a space. They can even bring multiple speakers to ease this transition.
Do They Sing?
Cello and Guitar Duo is mostly an instrumental group, but Clerida is a great singer and they can always incorporate some of her vocals into the set.
